【Course Purpose and Description】

Public facilities and infrastructure are currently aging all at once. It is not possible to maintain everything that exists currently. The lecturer presented “decaying infrastructure” in 2011 and has actually supported the management activities of many local governments. This course is the first in the world to recite the solution to this problem.

【Learning Objectives】

Regardless of whether you are in a position in the public or private sector, you will become people who solve the problem of decaying infrastructure from your respective position.

【Instructional Methods】

Lecture format.

【Self-study before/after classes】

● Pre-class study: Search for questions and challenges regarding the set topics of the activities and business practices for the following week.
● Post-class study: Consider the influences and effects of the results gained from each of the business practices and activities of the debates.
Each of these should take around 30~60 minutes in total. It is recommended that graduate students in regular employment use and examine actual activities and business practices done in working hours.

【Methods of Evaluation and Grading Criteria】

Final Report
Use the lessons learned in this lecture as much as possible to propose a comprehensive solution to the problem of infrastructure aging in any region.

Grades will be given based on an order from S-D.
S grade:90 points or more
A grade:80 points or more
B grade:70 points or more
C grade:60 points or more
Fail:under 60 points
