PPP Case-Study

【Course Purpose and Description】

This course discusses an original case method analysis of a PPP project. The focus of the case method will be on independent relationships (building a business scheme), the addition of balance sheets which indicate investment and financial information (fund planning), and investment valuation of the number of years of investment collection and NOI yield (income and expenditure plans).

【Learning Objectives】

The PPP Project while being originally structured on the various social relationships one is engaged in, allows creation of the fundamental business scheme of the project and investment evaluation.

【Schedule】

1. How to draw structure and basic case studies.
2. Case study on structure (1) (a relatively simple case)
3. Case study on structure (2) (a relatively complicated case)
4. Case study on structure (3) (a case that uses advanced technology, etc,)
6. Structure related to individual students (Group 1)
7. Structure related to individual students (Group 2)
Having confirmed the awareness of the issues in advance, those assuming similar structures are grouped.
Consideration will be given to the number of presentations specified, based on the work situation of the students.

9. Project evaluation techniques for investment collection (2) Negative investment collection and investment collection of subsidies (lecture and practice).

15. Comprehensive questions using investment valuation methods (practice and discussion)

【Instructional Methods】

The pattern of lectures on methods, case studies using methods, and student papers repeats. Discussions appropriate to the flow of the lecture and cognizance of issues among students, and advancement of understanding.

【Self-study before/after classes】

Pre-class study: Search for questions and challenges regarding the content of the activities and business practices for the following week.
Post-class study: Consider the influences and effects of the results gained from each of the business practices and activities of the lecture.
Each of these should take around 30~60 minutes in total. It is recommended that graduate students in regular employment use and examine actual activities and business practices done in working hours.

【Methods of Evaluation and Grading Criteria】

An overall evaluation will be based on presentation of the structure relating to individual students (40%), tackling of the exercises during the class, and participation in the discussion (60%).
S is 90 points or more, and deemed a particularly high degree of contribution to the class. A total of 80 points or more exclude S is an A, 70 points or more is a B, 60 points or more is a C and anything below 60 points counts as a fail.
