This lecture was jointly developed with ICMA--International City/County Management Association to learn local government management knowledge by city managers, that is mainstream in the US and other countries. The purpose of the course is to learn the efficient and effective local governement management based on ICMA material, and comparing Japanese system to the ones in the US. By learning differences, realize the challenges of the Japanese system, how it can be applied to Japanese system, and ways to make change. |
