【Course Purpose and Description】

・ From the issues facing the local community, we will explore and envision "what PPP can do to create a prosperous society."
・ We will explain the methodology of business planning for envisioning a PPP business based on examples, and examine the possibilities and development potential.
・ Through business planning exercises, you will learn how to create new business value for PPP and how to set multiple scenarios.
・ External lecturers will introduce themes that connect government and business in special lectures, and deepen multifaceted and three-dimensional discussions on PPP business.

【Learning Objectives】

・ Through the search for "what PPP can do to create a prosperous society," students' challenges and future dreams can be materialized.
・ You can envision a PPP project based on the issues facing the local community and various indicators (satisfaction / quality of life, happiness, social capital, etc.).
・ Learn to use business planning as a weapon for students to conceptualize, structure, and verbalize the contents of PPP projects.
・ From a large element of uncertainty and the impact of the PPP business, you can create multiple scenarios.
・ Communication skills will be acquired through dialogues between classes, teams, and individuals, and at the same time, presentation skills will improve.

【Instructional Methods】

1) Students will proactively create business planning and have group discussions so that new awareness can be gained.
2) Invite lively discussions, including the invitation of outside lecturers who are active on the front lines, so that each person can broaden their thinking and dig deeper.
3) We will be able to acquire practical abilities and skills by carefully giving individual guidance by e-mail etc.

【Self-study before/after classes】

・ Pre-learning Search for questions and issues that can be obtained from each practice or activity regarding the set theme.
・ Post-learning Consider the impact and effects of each practice and activity obtained from the results of discussions.
・ It is assumed that the time is about 30 to 60 minutes each. It is recommended that adult university students consider using their actual work and time of activity.

【Methods of Evaluation and Grading Criteria】

Evaluation will be made based on the results of the exercises and contributions to the discussions during the lecture.
1. Business planning exercise (60%)
Evaluation from the aspect of understanding and completeness of the content.
2. Contribution to discussions in lectures (40%)
The contribution to the knowledge and understanding of the class will be evaluated through discussion.
