The purpose of this course is to improve students' speaking and presentation skills.

Upon completion of this course, successful students will be able to: (1) improve both accuracy and fluency of their speaking, (2) perform an effective and persuasive presentation for both business and academice purposes.

Assignment: an assignment will be given on Toyo-Net ACE and students are expected to submit it online.

Students are expected to listen to lectures and actively participate in class activities. In-class activities will include pair-work, group discussions, and presentations.

This course will be conducted basically online. Thus, in order to attend this course, you need online access, and online meeting account.

Students are required to complete all the assignments and to review materials after lessons as instructed by the instructor.Students are expected to study at least 30 minutes for each lesson outside of class. It is advised that students find a problem or question their daily practices at work relevant to a theme that will be discussed in class. After class, it is also advised that students think about effects or impacts that might have by introducing the solution to the problem or question.

Students are assessed based on their overall participation and performance.
